New BBC One tie-in edition of “The Casual Vacancy” released!

A new edition of J.K. Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy was released by publisher Little, Brown and Company today, to serve as a tie-in to the upcoming BBC One miniseries based on the novel. The three-part drama stars two Harry Potter alumni: Sir Michael Gambon (Professor Dumbledore) as council leader Howard Mollison and Simon McBurney (who voiced Kreacher in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1) as head teacher Colin “Cubby” Wall.

The announcement came via the official Twitter account of Little, Brown Book Group UK:

Gambon is pictured on the new cover, alongside fellow cast members Keeley Hawes (Samantha Mollison), Brian Vernel (Stuart “Fats” Wall), and Abigail Lawrie (Krystal Weedon):
