MuggleNet’s 2015 Year in Review: “Fantastic Beasts”, “Cursed Child”, and Expo Patronum!

It’s been another great year to be part of the Harry Potter fandom. We’ve had tons of spine-tingling news about the upcoming film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – from the casting announcements, to learning the word “No-Maj,” to the first trailer, to the launch of MuggleNet’s new podcast, SpeakBeasty.

We’ve become increasingly excited about the West End play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – from the revealing of the plot, to the record-breaking ticket sales, to the casting of Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

MuggleNet was also thrilled to host our first-ever convention, MuggleNet Live! 2015: Expo Patronum, this past April in London. Fans and special guests from the Potter series came together for a truly magical event.

And that’s not to mention J.K. Rowling on Twitter, Career of Evil, Pottermore, Harry Potter cast members’ new projects, and so much more!

Relive all of 2015’s best moments on MuggleNet’s Year in Review page, where you can also see the best videos of the year and look over our past Years in Review as far back as 2005.

Thank you for sharing your love of Harry Potter with MuggleNet over the years. We look forward to all the wonderful things that 2016 has in store!

I have been a fan of Harry since 2000, a fan of MuggleNet since 2005, and a MuggleNet team member since 2013. I believe in the power of stories to bring people together, and nothing does that quite like Harry Potter. I’m an annoyingly proud Canadian and live in Toronto.
