“Philosopher’s Stone” and “Career of Evil” Shortlisted for Audible UK’s Audiobook of the Year

Just last month, the Harry Potter digital audiobooks became available on Audible after previously only being available through Pottermore. Now, both Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Robert Galbraith’s (J.K. Rowling’s) third Cormoran Strike novel, Career of Evil, have made the shortlist for Audible UK’s Audiobook of the Year 2015!

There are 12 nominees in total, including The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, Finders Keepers by Stephen King, and The Girl in the Spider’s Web by David Lagercrantz.

You can vote for up to three nominees here. Voting is open until Sunday, December 20 at 11:59 p.m. GMT.

In 2013, the first Cormoran Strike novel, The Cuckoo’s Calling, won the award for Audiobook of the Year with a landslide victory.

Have you listened to the Harry Potter or Cormoran Strike audiobooks? Which books will you be voting for?

I have been a fan of Harry since 2000, a fan of MuggleNet since 2005, and a MuggleNet team member since 2013. I believe in the power of stories to bring people together, and nothing does that quite like Harry Potter. I live in Toronto, Canada.
