“Harry Potter Film Concert Series” Coming to Los Angeles

Last month, Warner Bros. and CineConcerts announced the “Harry Potter Film Concert Series,” a tour of screenings of the Harry Potter films accompanied by live orchestras. The tour will debut in Philadelphia on June 23, and later stops are reportedly planned for San Diego, Nashville, Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, and San Jose.

Now a new tour stop has been announced: July 6 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles! The Los Angeles Philharmonic will perform John Williams’s classic score while Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is shown on the venue’s high-definition screens.

Are you planning to see the concert series live? Where would you like to see the tour travel to next?

I have been a fan of Harry since 2000, a fan of MuggleNet since 2005, and a MuggleNet team member since 2013. I believe in the power of stories to bring people together, and nothing does that quite like Harry Potter. I live in Toronto, Canada.
