“Fantastic Beasts” 3 Finally Begins Filming, Will Take Place Partially in Berlin

After various recent reports claiming the third Fantastic Beasts movie would begin filming in September and October following the long delay due to the coronavirus pandemic, we can now confirm that filming began last week.

According to our sources within the production, photos from the backlot of Leavesden Studios show a Fantastic Beasts set depicting Berlin, meaning the film will take place at least partially in Berlin, Germany, in addition to the previously reported setting of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Jude Law (Albus Dumbledore) and other key cast members have been on set.

You can check out what Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) had to say about the film in a recent interview.

We are still eagerly awaiting the title of the film. Its release date has so far not been affected by the pandemic and is set for November 12, 2021.
