Social Media Roundup: Moving Forward

Welcome back! It is time once again to check in and see what some of the Wizarding World stars have been up to in the latest edition of MuggleNet’s Social Media Roundup! There have been some exciting new podcast episodes released during the past two weeks, along with a calming cat video, Harry Potterthemed versions of the latest meme craze, and some of the Wizarding World stars’ thoughts on the swearing-in of the 46th president of the United States.

January 20, 2021, was the inauguration of Joe Biden, who is now the 46th president of the United States. The swearing-in ceremony was aired live for everyone to watch, and some of the Wizarding World stars posted about the inspirational and moving event.

Zoë Kravitz (Leta Lestrange) posted these beautiful words from inaugural poet Amanda Gorman, who read her poem “The Hill We Climb.”

The new dawn blooms as we free it.
For there is always light,
if only we’re brave enough to see it.
If only we’re brave enough to be it.

A photo taken of Senator Bernie Sanders during Inauguration Day has been made into a meme that has taken countless forms and is being shared everywhere. Well, of course, some of the Wizarding World actors joined in the fun as well. Ron Perlman (Gnarlak) introduced us to the newest member of the Sons of Anarchy at the table.

The purrfect ending to this Social Media Roundup is definitely Evanna Lynch’s cat, Puff, who is enjoying some attention.
