Celebrate Easter Weekend with “Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells”
Can you imagine how much fun it would be to take part in an Easter egg hunt at Hogwarts? All those secret passages, ancient statues, and magical classrooms would make it perfect. While we Muggles can only dream of such a thing, we do have the chance to participate in a fun Easter-themed event in the mobile game Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells.
The game is celebrating its first Easter holiday with a special limited-time Egg Bonanza event for its players. The event, which has already started, involves different-colored Easter eggs that are hidden throughout all journey puzzles, and when collected, the player earns points.
The event is being hosted by the Weasley matriarch, Molly, and players will be told to look out for these coveted Easter eggs.
These decorated eggs will randomly drop onto the [m]atch-3 puzzles and can be collected by merging gems together. Gather enough eggs to earn up to 5 chests, filled with in-game rewards!
Fans of Fantastic Beasts will be pleased to hear that a surprise guest is showing their face at this event. Every so often, golden eggs will drop onto the puzzles, and once double-tapped or swapped, this will trigger a 3X3 blast across the board. This shiny explosion attracts a Niffler onto the screen to collect the golden egg from the puzzle.
A Golden Egg clears gems in a 3×3 area! Look for it randomly dropping into your puzzle during #EasterEggHunt.

The last event Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells hosted was over Valentine’s Day. It involved a lovesick Lavender Brown searching for “Won-Won,” and players won rewards when they collected enough Love Potion vials. The game also added fun festive features over the Christmas period, including Christmas-themed cards, players collecting snowflakes for rewards, and colorful Wizard Cracker boosts that helped players blast away gems.
Are you going to be playing Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells this Easter weekend? If you are, be sure to keep an eye out for the pesky (but adorable) Niffler!
