Teaser Trailer for “Cabinet of Curiosities” Has Us Curious About Rupert’s Character

Rupert Grint’s (Ron Weasley) latest acting journey has our interest piqued. The teaser trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities reveals additional cast members and sneak peeks of the frightening stories.

Netflix has confirmed that this series will be available sometime in 2022. The assortment of stories is meant to make the audience question the traditional concept of horror we usually see. The eight creepy tales will feature magical, grotesque, and traditionally eerie themes. Two of these tales are original works by del Toro, with each of them being brought to life by a specialty team of writers and directors chosen by J. Miles Dale (The Vow, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle).

The star-studded cast alongside Rupert in this series includes F. Murray Abraham (Moon Knight, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Eric André (Sing 2, The Lion King), Ben Barnes (The Chronicles of Narnia, Stardust), Sofia Boutella (Atomic Blonde, Star Trek: Beyond), Elpidia Carrillo (Seven Pounds, Predator), Ismael Cruz Córdova (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Mary Queen of Scots), Essie Davis (Assassin’s Creed, The Babadook), Hannah Galway (Under the Banner of Heaven, Sex/Life), Crispin Glover (Back to the Future, Alice in Wonderland),  Demetrius Grosse (Rampage, 13 Hours), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water, Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Andrew Lincoln (The Walking Dead, Love Actually), Kate Micucci (The Big Bang Theory, The Lego Movie 2), Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Incredible Hulk), Luke Roberts (The Batman, Game of Thrones), Sebastian Roché (6 Undergound, The Young Pope), Glynn Turman (Super 8, Flashforward), Peter Weller (Star Trek Into Darkness, Robocop) , and Charlyne Yi (Jexi, Knocked Up).

We won’t keep you in suspense any longer. Check out the teaser trailer.

A little over a minute of some creepy footage, and the music choices alone are enough to make anyone squirm. What do you hope to see of Rupert in this series?
