UPDATED: Back to Peacock! All Eight “Harry Potter” Films Have Returned to the Popular Streaming Platform

Summer is here, and you know what that means: It’s time for a Harry Potter movie marathon! Grab some Licorice Wands and Chocolate Frogs and get comfy, because all eight Potter films are back on Peacock for your viewing pleasure.

Potterheads will know that the films were previously available to stream on Peacock but left the platform to go live on HBO Max last summer. Now, you get to pick and choose where to watch them, since they’re still available on HBO Max as well. As for how long the films will be on Peacock this time around, we don’t yet know, but we’ll keep you in the loop.

Those who want to indulge in a Fantastic Beasts marathon might be disappointed to hear that these films are not currently available on Peacock alongside the Potter films, so HBO Max is still the best platform if you want to join Newt Scamander on his incredible adventures.

In the meantime, we’re very happy that the Harry Potter films are now available on two major streaming platforms for the time being. Which platform will you choose for your Harry Potter movie marathon? Let us know in the comments.

UPDATE (August 2):

It was fun while it lasted, but we now have a date for when the Potter films will be leaving HBO Max.

Harry’s adventures are currently still available to watch on both Peacock and HBO Max, but starting August 31, all eight films will be available on Peacock only. Fans in the United Stated looking to enjoy a Wizarding World marathon on September 1 to celebrate Back to Hogwarts will need to do some channel hopping. A rewatch will need to start on Peacock and jump over to HBO Max for the Fantastic Beasts movies, followed by (if you can handle it) the Emmy-nominated Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special for all the feels.

Growing up, I was a massive fan of Harry Potter and my love for the stories grew as I got older. It’s no surprise then that I love writing about all things Potter related. When I’m not writing about all the magic, you’ll find me reading (probably something Harry Potter related), listening to music, or writing some songs.
