James Phelps and Bill Nighy to Star in New Short Film “Bloody Fury”

It always warms our hearts when Harry Potter alumni lend their talents to good causes, and recently, James Phelps (Fred Weasley) and Bill Nighy (Rufus Scrimgeour) worked on a short film that aims to raise awareness about the impact humans have on animals and the environment. Titled Bloody Fury, this Western directed by Jordan Inconstant aims to encourage the protection of animal life, especially wolves.

The film follows the story of a wolf who tries to navigate life on his own after his family is slaughtered for their fur. The cartoon wolf is voiced by Nighy, and fans will recognize Phelps as the cemetery caretaker.

The project kicked off in 2020 and is now in the final stages of postproduction. According to Inconstant, the film should be finished in time for festivals at the end of the year, and fans who live in London and Paris can look forward to screenings sometime in May 2023. If you’d like to stay in the know, you can check out the film’s Facebook page.

We can’t wait to see Bloody Fury for ourselves. What do you think will happen in the film? Let us know in the comments.

Growing up, I was a massive fan of Harry Potter and my love for the stories grew as I got older. It’s no surprise then that I love writing about all things Potter related. When I’m not writing about all the magic, you’ll find me reading (probably something Harry Potter related), listening to music, or writing some songs.
