New Company Members Join “Cursed Child” Cast in London

by Elyse Maupin-Thomas · August 17, 2022

Sam Crane is certainly no stranger to royal trappings, having played Patrick Plunket in The Crown, and this is sure to make his transition to the Palace Theatre that much smoother. Crane will be taking on the role of Harry Potter in the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Many other new faces will be joining him in the London show, along with a few actors returning.

Frances Grey will join Crane as Ginny Potter. Thomas Grant and Adam Wadsworth will be making their West End debuts in the roles of Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy, respectively. Grace Wylde will be rounding out the Granger-Weasley family as Rose.

A few members of the previous cast will be reprising their former roles. James Howard will once again play Scorpius’s father, Draco Malfoy. Thomas Aldridge will also continue his role as Ron Weasley, as will Michelle Gayle as Hermione Granger.
