“Fantastic Friends” Season 2 Trailer Has Dropped

James and Oliver Phelps may not be redheads, or wizards, for that matter, but one quality they do share with their former Harry Potter characters is a healthy appreciation for fun. The two showcase this defining attribute in the trailer for the newest season of their show, Fantastic Friends.

The travel series wrapped its successful first season after six episodes that took the hosts all over the world. They were joined at each incredible location by such fantastic friends as Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), and Luke Youngblood (Lee Jordan) to explore the area and take part in some genuinely grand adventures. The show has gained quite a following in the countries that stream it, including New Zealand, Canada, and soon, the United States. Based on the trailer alone, it doesn’t take a crystal ball to predict that there’s plenty more where that came from.

From piloting a biplane in Australia to snorkeling in San Pedro, the brothers have clearly found plenty of enchanting challenges to take on in this latest season. Fans can expect to see even more corners of the world this time, as the show takes the two to the aforementioned Australia, as well as Belize, Chile, Florida, Italy, Patagonia, Singapore, and Turkey over eight exciting episodes, as compared with the previous season’s six.

And since more episodes mean more friends, the audience can also look forward to reuniting with more familiar faces. Along with Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), Corey Mylchreest (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), and Genesis Rodriguez (The Umbrella Academy), some former Potter alumni come along for the ride as well. Featuring Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks), Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), and Stanislav Yanevski (Viktor Krum), the trailer suffers no shortage of magic. We can only expect the season as a whole to follow suit.

The show’s release date has yet to be announced, but rest assured we will be eagerly awaiting this information. Will you be watching? Let us know in the comments below.
