Death Eaters Will Make Their Debut in Diagon Alley This Fall

Death Eaters are set to descend on Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida this year in accordance with the horrors of Halloween. They will walk the streets on select dates between September 1 and November 4, bringing exclusive merchandise with them.

It’s presumed that the Death Eaters will feature as part of the park’s annual spooky Halloween Horror Nights event. In previous years, Diagon Alley didn’t feature as part of the Halloween festivities, but this year the appearance of Death Eaters suggests that the street won’t be as scare-free. However, there’s no confirmation of the role that the Death Eaters will play at the events, and it is currently unclear whether they will be appearing during regular daytime opening hours and/or the Halloween Horror Nights, but given that they will be in the area, we can guess that they’re up for more tricks than treats.

Rumors of a Death Eater appearance surfaced at the start of the summer when new installments popped up around Diagon Alley, including gnarled crates and an old luggage cart. The most exciting piece of new scenery is the stage that has arrived behind Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. While it’s thought that the stage will just be used for the Death Eaters to loom over the crowds, it isn’t impossible that they might put on an exclusive show.

Death Eaters aren’t new to Wizarding World theme parks, having first appeared at Universal Studios Japan in 2016 for a Halloween event called Death Eater Attack. Voldemort’s army has been busy in recent years, traveling to Hogsmeade village at Universal Studios Hollywood last year for its Halloween Horror Nights and roaming its streets again this year for the Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle event. This, however, will mark the first occasion that Death Eaters will visit Diagon Alley and their first visit to Universal Orlando Resort.

Will you dare to visit the park during the Death Eaters’ takeover?
