“Harry Potter: The Exhibition” Is Coming to Boston and São Paulo

If you’ve been attentive to the news lately, you might have noticed a pattern. From the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child school edition becoming accessible for license worldwide to full-cast audiobooks of the Harry Potter series in the works for release, it seems that the Wizarding World is determined to be available for its fans wherever they may be. In that same spirit, Harry Potter: The Exhibition is on the move once again.

On September 13, 2024, the renewed version of the exhibition will make its New England debut at CambridgeSide in Boston. As with other stops on the tour, the experience will offer immersive galleries dedicated to celebrating enchanting settings, beloved characters, and fascinating creatures. Guests will be able to get a close look at some of the props, costumes, and imagery that made the magic possible in the world of Harry Potter.

Tom Zaller, the president and CEO of Imagine Exhibitions, shared his excitement for this next stop on the tour:

Boston is rich with culture and history, making this a perfect stop for Harry Potter: The Exhibition on our US tour. I couldn’t be more thrilled to share this beloved exhibition with the fans and families of the Boston area later this fall.

Tickets will go on sale on May 16, but there’s no need to wait that long. Those who join the waitlist will be able to participate in the presale starting May 14. Waitlisters will also receive a commemorative tote bag for their troubles.

On an international note, Harry Potter: The Exhibition is gracing other corners of the globe as well. As previously reported, the tour has already stopped in both Barcelona and Macao and will open in Munich, Germany, on May 10. Fans in Brazil can start getting ready for their own magical experience: The exhibition will be visiting São Paulo beginning in August. Tickets are already available for purchase.
