BookCon 2015: Diversity in Science Fiction and Fantasy Literature
BookCon 2015 was full of interesting speakers, but my most anticipated panel by far was “In Our World and Beyond,” a panel presented by We Need Diverse Books examining representation in science fiction and fantasy literature. Featured on the panel, moderated by Marieke Nijkamp, were Nnedi Okorafor, Daniel José Older, Ken Liu, Kameron Hurley, and Joe Monti.

BookCon is almost upon us! This is only the second year of the convention’s existence and the first year that the event will last for two days. Daniel Radcliffe to star in biopic “Young Americans”
Way back in October we posted that Daniel Radcliffe was rumored to be reuniting with “Kill Your Darlings” co-star Dane DeHann to film “Young Americans”, a biopic about political strategists Karl Rove and Lee Atwater. This rumor has now been confirmed, with Radcliffe slated to play Atwater and DeHann set to play Rove.
