It was reported today that Emma Watson is linked to a new fantasy franchise project – The Queen of the Tearling. According to a report that was confirmed by Warner Brothers, the actress is in talks for the development of a film adaptation of the as-yet unreleased book by Erika Johansen, which is due out from Harper Collins in 2014.

Scholastic has recently announced that 15 public libraries across the United States will win a Harry Potter party pack in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman has been sold to Millenium Entertainment for US rights and a theatrical release! The film follows the story of a man (Shia LeBeouf) who falls in love with the girlfriend of a crime boss. Rupert Grint plays Carl, a traveler that Shia LeBeouf’s character encounters during the course of the movie.
This afternoon Warwick Davis appeared at Jubilee Square in London to help the charity LinkAble (formerly Link Leisure) celebrate its new name and the opening of its new building. LinkAble’s mission is to provide social and recreational activities to people with learning disabilities.
