It’s World Book Day in the UK today, which promotes and celebrates reading, particularly for children and young people. It wouldn’t be a celebration of great children’s literature without the Harry Potter books being involved in some way. Speaking of which, Bloomsbury has also decided to join in the festivities and offer a little something extra.
With Universal’s Wizarding World Tokyo rumored to be opening in June 2014, we have to wonder – could Beijing be the next location of the Wizarding World? Today, the Pottermore Insider announced that the fifth Pottermore House Cup will be awarded later this month. Pottermore will also be hosting House Pride Week beginning mid-March. Each house will be designated a day of the week on which its house members can take to twitter (among other social media platforms) with a special hashtag to show their pride.
