Readers of MuggleNet, we must admit to you today that we’ve been keeping a secret from you – a rather big one. We’ve wanted to tell you for a long time, but as Secret Keepers for Warner Bros., we knew we had to wait until the time was right. Today, it finally is. Last December, along with several other online news outlets, MuggleNet visited the set of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” at Leavesden Studios in London. What we saw there was amazing, and we want to share it with you.

It’s Katherine Waterston’s day off, but she’s gamely come out to speak with us at Leavesden anyway. Waterston has thought a lot about her character Tina Goldstein and her place in the magical world, and it’s immediately apparent that she’s just the type of person in whom fans want to rest their hopes for the future of Rowling’s cinematic world. I have the feeling she won’t let us down.

From the costumes to the sets to the meticulous magical detail that goes into creating each scene, it’s impossible to deny that the wizarding world looks good. Really good. Much of that can be credited to Stuart Craig, who has served as production designer on all eight “Harry Potter” films and now, the “Fantastic Beasts” trilogy.
