That’s right, folks. The first trailer for the upcoming CGI family adventure, based on the popular children’s animated program, is now online. The film contains the voices of several Harry Potter cast members, including Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Jim Broadbent (Professor Slughorn), and David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.).

From our first peek, we can see that Pat and his black and white cat, Jess, are up to all sorts of adventures. This includes Pat auditioning for a talent show in front of a judge named Simon Cowbell. But it’s not all fun and games when Pat gets lured in by the charms of fame.

The movie is directed by Mike Disa and also features the voices of Stephen Mangan and Boyzone singer Ronan Keating.

Postman Pat: The Movie is set to be released in UK cinemas on May 23.
