UPDATED: Bloomsbury UK to release new “Potter” adult hardback editions

Of course the big news today from Bloomsbury UK was that the successful Harry Potter Book Night would once again be taking place next February, giving us plenty of time to prepare and get those parties sorted. But Bloomsbury UK also revealed that they would be releasing new hardback adult editions of the complete series this coming August, in the UK.

The covers are designed by Andrew Davidson and feature beautiful woodcuts by the artist.

You can check the covers out below:

The hardbacks are now available to pre-order and will be released on August 13, 2015.

UPDATED: August 6, 2015.

While the hardbacks will all be available individually, Bloomsbury UK have also revealed that these new editions will be available to buy as a special boxed set.

Check out some photos below:

You can pre-order both the box set and the individual hardbacks now.

Plus, don’t forget that the first fully illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will be released this autumn. Find out more here.

Wouldn’t it be easier if JKR just wrote more Potter books? I mean, she has written more using her fake male name, that I won’t even mention because they are so BAD. . . but clearly, she wants to continue to write, so why not write more Potter books.. . ? She really hasn’t proven to be even passable on any other topic. . . she was given a story gift and she is wasting it. . .welfare witch. . .

The books she wrote under the Robert Galbraith name were critically acclaimed, in reality. She has artistic integrity and respects her own achievement with the Harry Potter series, I’m sure that Rowling does not see her works as cash-grabs at all, that’s why she stopped at seven books, the original plan from the start. If you cannot enjoy her new detective novels, that’s your problem alone. What right do you have to call her ”welfare witch”, may I ask?
