Original “Cursed Child” Cast Is Coming to Broadway!

If you, like us, were sad to say farewell to the original cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on London’s West End, sigh no more. Seven members of the original cast will be returning to their roles on Broadway in New York City next year!

Jamie Parker (Harry Potter), Noma Dumezweni (Hermione Granger), Paul Thornley (Ron Weasley), Poppy Miller (Ginny Potter), Sam Clemmett (Albus Potter), Alex Price (Draco Malfoy), and Anthony Boyle (Scorpius Malfoy) will be joined by 28 new cast members. The Broadway production will begin previews in March 2018 and will officially open April 22, 2018, at the Lyric Theatre in New York.

You may remember that in June, we reported rumors that Paul Thornley would be returning – and it seems we were right! It is absolutely thrilling to think this principal cast will inaugurate the New York show the way they did the West End show. As anyone who saw the London production knows, American audiences are in for an absolute treat!

Registration for ticket access opens October 1, 2017, at 10 a.m. ET and closes October 5, 2017, at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets will go on sale October 12, 2017.
