UPDATED: Over 100,000 “Cursed Child” NYC Tickets to Be Released This Month
UPDATE (September 27):
Over 100,000 tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child go on sale today! Visit the official Cursed Child website between 10:30 a.m. ET and 11:00 a.m. ET to join the “Virtual Waiting Room” to get tickets!
After breaking ticket sales records twice over, the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be looking to set yet another record when over 100,000 tickets are released later this month.
On September 27, fans will once again have a chance to see the award-winning play in two parts. Starting at $40, tickets will be available across all price points for performances through June 9, 2019. Unlike previous releases, those wanting to purchase tickets this time around will not require an access code.

Fans hoping to see the play on Broadway will need to visit the official Cursed Child website between 10:30 a.m. ET and 11:00 a.m. ET to join the “Virtual Waiting Room.” In an attempt to reduce the use of bots and to make the process as fair as possible, everyone in the Virtual Waiting Room will be randomly assigned a place in the queue for the opportunity to purchase tickets.
After winning 25 major awards this season, including six Tony Awards, tickets for Cursed Child are once again expected to be in high demand. With productions set to open in Australia and Germany, there’s no stopping the popularity of this Potter play.
