New Lockers Are Coming to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey in Orlando

Need a place to store your belongings while you ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando? The ride will soon have new lockers for you to keep your stuff safe, according to WDW News Today.

While there are currently lockers available for the ride, they aren’t exactly ideal. (As WDW News Today explains, “The lockers are in a tight, small area at the entrance to Hogwarts Castle, which was often overcrowded long before social distancing was a thing.”) A new structure has been built in the park to house the lockers, which WDW News Today notes is near the entrance to Jurassic Park, just outside of Hogsmeade.

The report also includes photographs of the structure, though it’s currently behind a construction barrier.

If you’ve entered the attraction lately, you may have noticed these walls to the left-hand side. This will eventually open up and lead guests to a new set of lockers, where they will be able to easily enter, drop off their belongings, and then return back to the entrance of the attraction. We’re looking forward to an easier locker area, and Team Members seemed very excited about them, too.

There’s no word yet on when the new lockers will be ready for use.

Are you excited for the new lockers? Have you been waiting for a larger locker area? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
