Cakeworthy to Launch Stunning “Harry Potter” Collection

Fellow witches and wizards, take it from us: You need to go to Gringotts right now and withdraw enough Galleons to buy yourself a new, amazing, vibrantly colored Harry Potter wardrobe. The reason? Cakeworthy, the famous Canadian fandom fashion brand popular for designing fashion-forward streetwear, is releasing a magical new range – and you’re going to want every single piece.

The new Harry Potter line, which is set to launch on October 30, will be available in a variety of magical designs: from flannel shirts to T-shirts and dresses. You’re going to have a very hard time choosing what to buy and what to leave for when you have more Galleons on you.

The first item you’ll want to get your hands on is the flannel design that sports all the different Hogwarts Houses. There’s no better way to show off your House pride this winter. The colors are beautiful, and each shirt has its respective House crest on the back, large enough that everyone will be able to see which House you’re in. Now, that’s what we call quality magical clothing.

The best part is that more flannel varieties are available – you can get a black and white design that gives a nod to the Marauder’s Map with the words “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good” on the back. You could also opt for the white and blue flannel shirt with the words “You’re a wizard, Harry” printed on the back.

Then there are the T-shirts: You’ll be repping the Daily Prophet to all who see you. These black and white shirts will go great with everything else in your wardrobe, and those standing behind you in a queue will have plenty of reading to do while staring at your back. See this T-shirt as serving both you and the people around you who might be in dire need of something magical to read. Last but not least in the shirt department is a black and white design with “Have you seen this wizard?” posters on it. Yes, that’s Sirius Black you see grimacing on the front. If you can’t find something to wear with these shirts, you can always opt to buy the denim skirt decorated with Harry’s scar and glasses as pictured above.

You can also get your hands on a sweater that sports Dolores Umbridge‘s infamous Educational Decree Number Eighty-Two: All students will submit to questioning about suspected illicit activities. We think Fred and George would approve of this design.

The dresses are a nice touch – you can choose between a Daily Prophet print and a dress covered in various spells, which is sure to leave you feeling like your best witchy self.

Cakeworthy’s founder and CEO, Brandon Shedden, seems to be just as excited about the new collection as all the Potterheads out there. He expressed his joy at finally being able to launch the magical collection.

Harry Potter is a cultural touchstone of my generation. Since the beginning of Cakeworthy, our community has been clamoring for a Harry Potter x Cakeworthy partnership. We’re very excited to finally launch this magical collection that has been in the works for so long, as we fully support the messages of acceptance, hope, and equality that are woven throughout the books, films, and wider wizarding world.

The best part about buying these items from Cakeworthy is that the company is committed to LGBTQIA+ equality, and a portion of sales from products created in partnership with Warner Bros. will be donated until the end of 2020 to an organization that supports the LGBTQIA+ community. Now you have even more reason to start shopping.

There’s no denying that these designs are all stunning and will probably leave all of us broke before Christmas has even arrived. Will it be worth it? You bet your wand it will be. Are you going to spend some Galleons on these? Were you shouting “take my Galleons already!” in the first paragraph? Let us know in the comments.

Growing up, I was a massive fan of Harry Potter and my love for the stories grew as I got older. It’s no surprise then that I love writing about all things Potter related. When I’m not writing about all the magic, you’ll find me reading (probably something Harry Potter related), listening to music, or writing some songs.
