Bonnie Wright Confirms When Her Upcoming Book’s Title and Cover Will Be Revealed

Bonnie Wright, who rose to fame in the Harry Potter series portraying Ginny Weasley, has announced in an email newsletter that the title and cover of her upcoming book will be revealed this month.

In her newsletter, Wright confirmed that her book’s official release date is April 19, 2022, speaking excitedly about the day that she will become a published author.

A day that will feel SO surreal as a published author. This was never something I saw in my future, yet here we are!

Fans will be pleased to hear that the book’s title and cover are being revealed five months before this, on November 19.

Wright started writing the book during lockdown and revealed earlier this year that it is “basically a kind of lifestyle-home book about sustainability and what we can be doing at home, as we will spend so much time there.” This is clearly a topic Wright is very passionate about since she has also started writing a weekly newsletter that provides readers with climate content, “from reflective essays to practical ideas and recipes to implement positive actions in your day[-]to[-]day life.”

The newsletter also delves into the inspiration behind the book.

What inspired me to write this book, you may ask? Well, in short, YOU. Every time I shared the quiet practices I was cultivating at home to have a closer relationship to my role within the climate movement, I was so inspired by your interest and curiosity. I am so grateful for the community I have been given through my performance in Harry Potter and even more grateful that you receive and connect with my fervent passion to protect Earth and its Earthlings.

Wright is also writing a journal piece that “goes deeper into what called [her] to write the book and the daunting experience of sitting down to write it.” The journal piece will be shared on her new platform, which is also launching on November 19 and will be a “place to take actionable steps to nurture yourself and the planet.”

Are you excited to get your hands on Wright’s book in April? Make sure you mark down November 19 on your calendars because not only will you discover her book’s title and cover, but the book will be available for presale on this day too.
