Broadway Cast of “Cursed Child” Reads Chapter 6 of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” for Harry Potter at Home

Another chapter of the first Harry Potter book has made its way to Wizarding World Digital’s Harry Potter at Home. This time, it’s “The Journey from Platform Nine and Three-Quarters,” as read by the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway!

As introduced by Wizarding World Digital, the reading of the latest chapter is led by Jamie Parker as the narrator.

For Chapter Six, it’s a Cursed Child special, with several members of the Broadway cast reading for you today, helmed by the production’s original Harry, Jamie Parker. Jamie starred in both [sic] the original West End production as Harry Potter, before reprising the role on Broadway.

Each of the other cast members voices a character in the chapter. A separate guide provides more information on each of the cast members featured in the video:

James Brown III (Bane & ensemble in Cursed Child) – The train announcement
Ed Hyland (Dumbledore & ensemble in Cursed Child) – The Chocolate Frog card

Noma Dumezweni, who starred alongside Parker and Thornley as Hermione Granger in both the West End and Broadway productions, read Chapter 2 of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone for Harry Potter at Home.
