I know this is a topic that has been discussed before, but it’s something I find very interesting to delve into. There are so many “what ifs” that we can explore in the Potter series, but I think this is one of the biggest ones. If Voldemort had interpreted the prophecy to mean Neville and his parents, there are quite a few things that would be different about the story. You see, it’s not as simple as switching characters and leaving the story and the outcome the same. Different characters react to things in different ways and make different decisions that can completely change the course of a story.

I’ve always thought the moving pictures of the wizarding world are one of the most interesting differences between Muggle and Wizard lives. When you think about it, we take pictures to capture a moment in time. Even our moving pictures taken on film or SD card have limitations. They are still a specific moment and the people within them can’t branch out of what has been recorded.
The trio of Harry, Ron, and Hermione is arguably one of the most famous in today’s society. This is a list of things that mean a friendship is real, inspired by our favorite fictional friends and their relationships.
This happens to be my birthday weekend, so I was being a bit reflective this morning and was thinking about what past birthdays have brought. One that stood out in particular was my 12th birthday. One year after I should have gotten my Hogwarts letter, I celebrated my birthday by going to see MuggleNet’s own Emerson Spartz and Ben Schoen at a nearby bookstore where they would be talking about MuggleNet.com’s book “What Will Happen in ‘Harry Potter 7′”.
I’ve been seeing a lot in the news lately about investigations at public colleges involving Title IX violations. I’ve been following these stories for my own reasons, but while doing so I’ve found it really interesting to read about the lesser known violation of “retaliation.” Most Title IX cases that make it into the news are about sexual assault, but lumped in with this issue is often the cover up by the university that a complaint has been filed at. Schools are getting caught more now then ever before for the mishandling of Title IX issues. Of course, you are probably wondering what this has to do with Harry Potter.
