Today we’re featuring a clock one fan has manufactured to keep watch on his family, which looks and functions almost exactly like Molly Weasley’s magical clock in J.K. Rowling’s fantasy series. The “Harry Potter Wherabouts Clock” is nearly identical to the Burrow clock in every respect, in fact, except it doesn’t use magic to locate family members – it uses Twitter.

When the Harry Potter fandom was in its heyday, there were few young people in the world who didn’t in some way look up to Hermione Granger. Especially around the time the Prisoner of Azkaban movie came out, many believed her bravery to face Draco Malfoy posited her as a model for young women.

If you look at these images carefully you will find Elizabeth took the time to make this Honeydukes a completely authentic representation. Everything from the small labeled bottles on the shelves to the curved pink staircase appear to capture the descriptions of the shop from the Harry Potter book series. Great job, Elizabeth!

Many Harry Potter fans are familiar with the vast amount of unofficial text and fan fiction that has been released by authors as companion works to the series, but this particular book may give some fans pause. The Unofficial Harry Potter Insults Handbook: 101 Comebacks for the Slytherin in Your Life is co-written by Birdy Jones and Laura J. Moss – video producer and editor for the Mother Nature Network, respectively – and proposes to arm the reader with a whole host of Harry Potter-themed comebacks they can use to magically disarm the bullies in their own life.
