The “Fantastic Beasts” Global Fan Event Q&A dropped some new, very exciting information about the film. Check out what we’ve learned here!
Readers of MuggleNet, we must admit to you today that we’ve been keeping a secret from you – a rather big one. We’ve wanted to tell you for a long time, but as Secret Keepers for Warner Bros., we knew we had to wait until the time was right. Today, it finally is. Last December, along with several other online news outlets, MuggleNet visited the set of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” at Leavesden Studios in London. What we saw there was amazing, and we want to share it with you.
Of the central cast, Colin Farrell is the one I have the most trouble reconciling into the “Potter” universe. Even as he walks into the room for our interview, even though I knew he was coming, I am still mildly surprised – what does this movie star have to do with “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”? Like so many things about this new franchise, he’ll take some getting used to, but soon enough I’m sure, it will be hard not to think of him as a part of this world.
Keep touring the set of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” with MuggleNet! We’ve got even more sets to describe and more clues about the script to divulge in the second installment of our Set Visit report.
“The Evening Standard” has revealed its list of London’s Most Influential People 2016, called Progress 1000, and as can be expected, it includes a wide range of familiar “Potter” names – from stars of the “Harry Potter” films to “Cursed Child” cast and crew.
Another month over and another month closer to the release of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” in November. Just this week, we were reminded by Eddie Redmayne, Newt Scamander himself, that there were only 100 days to go until the film was released in theaters.
While information about four central characters in the upcoming “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” film has been slowly leaking out over the past few months, the mystery surrounding another of the movie’s stars, Ezra Miller, has remained intact. Today, we got our first look at his character – Credence.
It was a busy day at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) yesterday for the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” cast and fans. At a panel, the cast spoke to a packed room of fans about the film and revealed a new trailer. Redmayne also handed out wands to the audience before leading the crowd in a spell.

It’s high time I paid homage to the mighty MuggleNet. Where to start? I love the design, (I currently favour the ‘Dementor’ layout), the polls (I actually voted in the ‘Who’s the Half-Blood Prince?’ one), the pretty-much-exhaustive information on all books and films, the wonderful editorials (more insight there than in several companion volumes I shall not name), 101 Ways to Annoy Lord Voldemort (made me laugh aloud), the Wall of Shame (nearly as funny as some of the stuff I get)… pretty much everything. Webmaster Emerson, Eric, Jamie, Damon, Ben, Matthew, Rachel, Jaymz and Sharon, I salute you.
