It’s been less than a month since we learned that the House Cup awarded on September 9 would be Pottermore’s last and only a few days since it was revealed that Pottermore as we know it is coming to an end – and the site is set to reveal a whole new chapter for fans. While those revelations make us feel a lot of things – a bit sad, excited, curious – we certainly have something worth celebrating today: Hufflepuff has won the final House Cup!
We were all saddened – and rather intrigued – to hear that Pottermore would be announcing the last ever House Cup on September 9. What, we wondered, did this mean for the site? What changes were happening?
A tweet sent out today from Pottermore’s official Twitter account seems to suggest that the biannual House Cup award may be coming to an end early next month.
Ravenclaw has won the sixth Pottermore House Cup, making them the first house to win twice in a row!
We posted last week about Ravenclaw’s victory in the fifth official Pottermore House Cup, and now the Pottermore Insider Blog has announced that members of Ravenclaw will receive a very special prize.
