On July 18, thousands of young girls showed up in London to audition for the part of Modesty in the upcoming “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” film—only one of them wasn’t a girl or between the ages of 8 and 12.
Yesterday, thousands of young girls turned out to audition for the role of Modesty in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” while most of us sat at home and wished we were 12 years old again so that we could take part. It’s been an exciting day in the “Harry Potter” fandom; Warner Bros. hosted an open casting call in London for “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. They were looking for Modesty, a “haunted” 8-12-year-old girl with “an inner strength and stillness. She has an ability to see deep into people and understand them.” In all likelihood, they found Modesty today among the thousands of hopefuls who turned up to audition.
