Chute 212, an upcoming Harry Potter conference, is holding a promotional photo shoot this very weekend in Santa Rosa, CA. They are inviting costumed wizards and witches to participate in group photographs (and even some video!), which will be distributed as print advertising around the Bay Area. This is a Bring-Your-Own-Wand (BYOW) event!

Last month, we told you about Chute 212, a Harry Potter conference with a focus on theatrics and education, taking place this July in the Bay Area. Luckily all attendees can take part directly in such events because the Call for Programming is now open! Further, Chute 212’s directors are asking you to come up with a workshop, lecture, or discussion topic.

For those wizards (and Muggles) , hoping for a place to brew their potions, toss some gobstones, or practice their Quidditch, we can proudly announce that an entirely new town will reveal itself, to everyone, this July. This new and innovative literary and create-play conference is a celebration of the wizarding world in all its incantations, Chute 212 is the first of its kind to blend the environmental, theatrical world of a fair, with the literary, musical community of a convention.MuggleNet will be reporting with additional detail on several other aspects of this particular conference in the coming weeks.
