“Fantastic Beasts” Set Visit Interview: Ezra Miller
Ezra Miller, who plays the mysterious Credence in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” is a buzzy ball of energy as he enters the room.

Dan Fogler comes straight from set when it’s time for our interview, having just finished filming the last scenes of “Fantastic Beasts” that will be shot today, which means he’s still in costume as No-Maj Jacob Kowalski. Fogler makes an excellent diplomat for the non-magical community, cheerfully sharing with a mix of earnestness and humor what information he can about his character.
Chris Columbus. Alfonso Cuarón. Mike Newell – all of these directors made their mark on the “Harry Potter” film universe, but none more so than David Yates, who directed the last four movies. Now, along with J.K. Rowling and David Heyman, he’s returned to the wizarding world with “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”.
It’s fitting that the star of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is the first of our cast interviews for the day. When Redmayne enters the room, he is, to our delight, dressed in his Scamander garb – the outfit first debuted on the cover of Entertainment Weekly that has doubtlessly already launched a thousand cosplays.
Keep touring the set of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” with MuggleNet! We’ve got even more sets to describe and more clues about the script to divulge in the second installment of our Set Visit report.
Passing through security to get into Leavesden Studios is like crossing a border, since calls are made and your identity checked and re-checked before you’re allowed through. It’s no wonder – beyond this inconspicuous guard stand lies the stronghold of secrets literally millions of fans are desperate to know, for only a few yards away, just out of sight, are the sets where “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is being filmed.
Alison Sudol, who plays Queenie Goldstein, is clearly coming from wardrobe and make-up as she enters the room for our interview. Clothed in a fluffy white robe, she’s traded her dark bob for a curly blonde wig that rests under a hairnet, and her open face has already been made up in the style of an elegant 1920s woman. As she sits, she reveals that she’s wearing a corset, and we all wince just a little in sympathy.
“The Evening Standard” has revealed its list of London’s Most Influential People 2016, called Progress 1000, and as can be expected, it includes a wide range of familiar “Potter” names – from stars of the “Harry Potter” films to “Cursed Child” cast and crew.
Last month, we learned the titles of several tie-in books for “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. Soon afterward, we finally saw the covers for a few of those titles. Today, we’ve got another one for you, and it’s pretty exciting – the cover of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Newt Scamander: A Movie Scrapbook”.
