It’s been over a year and a half since J.K. Rowling confirmed that there would be a “Harry Potter” stage play, and it looks like there just might finally be some news about what the play will be called – and what it will entail.
Of course the big news today from Bloomsbury UK was that the successful Harry Potter Book Night would once again be taking place next February, giving us plenty of time to prepare. Bloomsbury also revealed that they would be releasing new hardback adult editions of the complete series this coming August, in the UK.
Bloomsbury UK has just announced that the second Harry Potter Book Night will take place in 2016. The first Harry Potter Book Night took place earlier this year, and MuggleNet was lucky to be involved in the Waterstones’s Piccadilly event, alongside illustrator Jonny Duddle.
This week saw the second big casting reveal for “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” the grand recipient of the 2015 Charity Awards, and a certain beloved character get absolutely silly with the help of helium and Jimmy Fallon.
Just in time for “Fantastic Beasts” fever to really get off the ground, Scholastic is releasing new US editions of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and “Quidditch Through the Ages” on June 30! Originally published in 2001, the American editions of these Hogwarts textbooks have remained largely unchanged until now.
