Earlier this evening, it was revealed on a live broadcast by Podcast Awards creator Todd Cochrane that our family of podcasts earned nominations for the 2013 9th annual Podcast Awards.

The People’s Podcast Awards recognizes the best podcasters in the world by allowing the people (listeners and podcasters) to nominate and then vote for their favorite podcast. MuggleNet has been no stranger to these awards in the past, MuggleCast having won three times – in 2006 for People’s Choice and in 2008 & 2009 for Best Entertainment. Now, MuggleNet has a large, expanded family of amazing podcasts and is asking you once again to do what you did for MuggleCast by nominating all of our amazing content.

Ascendio is H.P.E.F’s upcoming eighth and final Harry Potter convention. Taking place at the luxurious Portofino Bay Resort at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL from July 12-15, 2012, Ascendio offers a unique way for fans to celebrate Harry Potter at the heart of the Wizarding World.
Online registration for the convention ends tonight, 11:59 p.m. EDT! To mark the moment, with this post we have just completed a week of cool facts about the convention.
Our final “cool fact” is about MuggleNet’s presence at Ascendio… and all of the things will be doing! Several MuggleNet staff members will be on site at Ascendio and we’re all involved in different events that we may or may not have previously mentioned.
