While here in the US we’re anticipating the upcoming Oscars, awards season is already underway here and around the globe. Just yesterday evening, the winners of the Evening Standard Film Awards were announced in London, and more than one “Potter” veteran was honored.
We’re certainly in the thick of awards season at the moment – just yesterday, we learned about the Producers Award nominees, and today it’s the turn of BAFTA, the British Academy Film and Television Awards. The nominations were announced this morning by Stephen Fry (British audiobooks) and actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw (“Belle”, featuring Tom Felton).
