MISTI-Con, the incredible “Harry Potter” convention that is taking place at the beautiful Margate Resort in Laconia, New Hampshire from May 9-13, 2013, has a reminder for you! There’s only about two weeks left before Early Bird registration ends! This will be a convention that you will not want to miss, especially since there are no Muggles allowed
If you have ever wondered how to make that special “Harry Potter” event even more special, you have probably asked yourself, “What costume should I wear?” How you can add the right touch to a costume can sometimes be a difficult question to answer, whether you are attending a convention, a local “Harry Potter” meet-up with close friends, or even the upcoming Halloween party in your neighborhood.
Warner Bros. has released a brand-new exclusive clip from the “Harry Potter Wizard’s Collection” that is due out in stores September 7.
In it, Tim Burke (VFX Supervisor), director David Yates, and Stephen Woolfenden (Second Unit Director) discuss how Quidditch came to life in “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.”
Back in March when the Warner Bros.Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter first opened its doors to the public, one of the iconic sets could only be viewed from the outside — the bridge that Neville and Seamus bring down during the final battle.
Now, the bridge is open to all visitors to walk across, and even pretend they are getting chased by ruthless Death Eaters (just don’t go jumping off of it as if it were exploding).
According to the “Telegraph”, the home used in the film “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” that showcased the birthplace of Harry Potter is now available for purchase for only 1 million GBP.
Are you the proud owner of “Harry Potter Film Wizardry”? The book is being rereleased on October 23 as “Harry Potter Film Wizardry (Revised and Expanded).”
There is some disappointing news tonight as it was just announced that Wrockfest in the Forest of Dean scheduled for October 12 – 15 in Greensboro, North Carolina has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organizers control. Organizers will be working with the individual registrants over the next several weeks to refund fees; however, other expenses incurred will not be able to be refunded.
Here at MuggleNet we love to feature talented fans who express their love for “Harry Potter” in drawings, paintings, dance, and even song. Our FanArt feature this week comes from Zoe Louk, and she has written and performed an awesome song that we would like to share with everyone today!
