It’s been three days since the script book of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” was unleashed upon the world, and love it or hate it, you can’t deny one thing – the book’s tremendous selling power. This morning, Scholastic announced that sales within the first two days of release reached over 2 million copies.
Our “Harry Potter” alumni have had their hands full the last couple of weeks with San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), filming new TV series, appearing on stage, and much more.
While the list of amazing things that J.K. Rowling does for her readers – from responding to tweets to popping into book club meetings – would probably circle the Earth multiple times, we wanted to take a minute to acknowledge a few times that Jo went above and beyond for the sake of love.

We’re extremely excited here at MuggleNet today because the first look at Jim Kay’s upcoming illustrated “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” has been revealed. The first fully illustrated book in the series, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone/Sorcerer’s Stone”, was released last October, and since then, we’ve been waiting to learn more about the next in the series.
