In a move worthy of J.K. Rowling herself, London’s Big Green Bookshop has pledged that all profits from pre-orders of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will go to local school libraries.

Exciting! We now know who will be playing the character of Scorpius Malfoy in the upcoming stage play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”. According to the UK casting website Spotlight, Anthony Boyle will be taking on the role of Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass’s son.
Imelda Staunton (Professor Dolores Umbridge) and Sir Kenneth Branagh (Professor Gilderoy Lockhart) have both received nominations for the 2016 Olivier Awards. Other nominees include Sophie Thompson (Mafalda Hopkirk in “Deathly Hallows – Part 1”), Jamie Parker (Harry in “Cursed Child”) and Sonia Friedman (Producer of “Cursed Child”).
It was only recently that we reported to you the full cast announcement for “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”. One of the few cast members whom we were already aware of was Noma Dumezweni, who will be playing a grown-up Hermione Granger. She now talks her excitement about playing one of our favorite literary characters.
Ever since the first casting announcement for “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” was released back in December, fans have been eagerly waiting to discover who would make up the rest of the cast. Well, we don’t have to wait any longer – the full cast has been revealed today! What’s more, it has also been revealed that rehearsals have begun!
