“J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World: Movie Magic Volume One” Highlights the Best of “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts”

We’re under the one-month mark until “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is released, but that short time period doesn’t mean we don’t need something “Potter”-ish to tide us over until that happy day arrives. Luckily, some of the merchandise that was first teased over the summer is starting to be released, including “J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World: Movie Magic Volume One”!

Is a “Fantastic Beasts” Mobile Game on Its Way?

It may not be “Pokémon GO”, but it looks like “Harry Potter” fans could have a new mobile distraction sometime in the near future! In a Facebook post, WB Games teased a game called “Fantastic Beasts: Cases from the Wizarding World”, and hopefully, it will be available soon!

Back in June, it was announced that Bloomsbury and Scholastic would be releasing a new edition of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” in 2017, complete with a new introduction from J.K. Rowling, a new cover by Jonny Duddle, and interior black and white illustrations by Tomislav Tomić, a Croatian children’s book illustrator. While we still don’t have the cover of that quite yet, we do have something pretty close – the cover of the new Hogwarts Library!

Robbie Coltrane, Julie Walters Speak on Upcoming Drama “National Treasure”

“Potter” veterans Robbie Coltrane and Julie Walters star in “National Treasure”, a four-part drama that explore the events after a famous comedian is accused of sexual abuse. Coltrane plays Paul Finchley, the man accused of rape, and Walters plays Finchley’s wife. The drama is penned by “Cursed Child” playwright Jack Thorne, and all three recently spoke to the “Guardian” about the miniseries.
