Yesterday, we announced this incredible attraction for the passionate fans of Harry Potter in Japan, but today was the official announcement. And who better to present the theme park to the world, then two of the most dedicated fans of the series, James and Oliver Phelps.
On Thursday, Universal Studios Japan will unveil their plans to build the first International WWOHP, which has been an enormous success in Orlando, Florida. The park in Japan is being build on vacant land and as a result will open ahead of the WWOHP at Universal Studios Hollywood, which has to rebuild areas of its theme park.

HBO will be airing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 beginning on Saturday, May 12 at 8:00pm EDT. While we are sure everyone reading this has seen the movie, there is still something new about seeing the films on television.
Daniel Radcliffe – the star who portrayed the title character in all of the Harry Potter films – was in attendance saying he was honored to be at the event and admitted he was a little star-struck. When he found out New York Jets newest quarterback was there, Dan admitted that he was a huge fan.
As we reported last month, the International Quidditch Association launched a new contest that took competition off the Quidditch pitch and into the kitchen. The Quidditch Culinary Classic is an IQA inspired recipe challenge that was launched on their Facebook page. Final entries are to be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EDT on May 14, 2012.
