2016 involved many exciting moments for the “Harry Potter” fandom, including the release of the “Cursed Child” script. So with the announcement of the British Book Awards short list, we weren’t surprised to see some familiar names.

We only found out recently who would be portraying Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott in the TV adaptation of Robert Galbraith’s “Cormoran Strike” crime novels (Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger, respectively), but filming is already well underway. Now we’ve got our first look at the series!
This has been one busy week! Some of our favorites like Timothy Spall, Imelda Staunton, and Gary Oldman have begun projects bound for the Academy Awards. Back in 2013, the news surfaced that a new author, Robert Galbraith, was actually J.K. Rowling writing under a pseudonym. This is probably one of my favorite J.K. Rowling moments, just because she had us all fooled. Had someone not leaked the information, we probably would have all gone on thinking that she had yet to publish any new work after “The Casual Vacancy”. It’s just so typically, sneaky Jo, and I love it.
